BBA Swarm
The leading club basketball program in the Tri-State Powered by Under Armour, BBA Swarm is for boys and girls grades 3rd – 12th. Our program operates out of facilities in Syracuse and the Liverpool Area and is directed by current NBA trainer, Ben Bellucci. Our program offers teams, camps, and clinics year-round and is coached by local college and high school coaches.

Bellucci Basketball Academy & BBA Swarm
Cookie has been part of Bellucci Basketball Academy since 2013. She manages and coordinates 1,000-plus clients across the Syracuse area. Responsible for setting One-on-one training with certified BBA coaches, Small and Customized Group Training, managing After School Programs, and scheduling clinics and programs throughout the year. In 2018 she joined BBA Nets (now BBA Swarm), a top Central New York AAU club. BBA Swarm prides itself on recruiting, promoting, and developing young athletes. Cookie is in charge of the day-to-day operations of the business. Her top priority is building strong client loyalty, ensuring players know the value they bring to the organization, and ensuring coaches are equipped with the proper training and tools for a successful season.

Coach Hillman’s coaching experience began back in 1997 in Foxboro, Massachusetts where he coached 6th grade girls and 8th grade boys travel teams. In the summer of 2003 he moved to Central New York with his wife and family where he continued to coach with several local organizations. From 2013 to present, Coach Hillman was: Head Coach of a 5/6 girls basketball team for the Cicero Optimist Organization (2013 & 2014); Head Coach for CNS Swishers Club, 6th grade girls travel basketball team (2014), 7th grade girls travel basketball team (2015) and assistant coach for 8th grade girls travel basketball team, Head Coach for Sacred Heart Church CYO Girls 5th/6th basketball team (2014), 7th/8th grade girls basketball team (2015 & 2016); Head Coach for BBA Nets 9th grade girls basketball team (2017); and currently the Head Coach for the BBA SWARM 11th grade girls basketball team (2022). At the same time, Coach Hillman was: Head Coach for Cicero Snipers 4th grade boys travel basketball team (2015); Head Coach of BBA Nets 5th grade boys travel basketball team (2016); 6th grade boys travel basketball team (2017); 7th grade boys travel basketball team (2018); 8th grade boys travel basketball team (2019), 9th grade boys travel basketball team (2020), 10th grade boys travel basketball team (2021), 11th grade girls travel team (2022), 8th grade girls travel team (2022), 6th grade boys travel team (2023), 6th grade girls travel team (2023) and 7th grade boys travel team (2023). Coach Hillman preaches accountability, communication, selflessness and hard work, while focusing on strategy and skill development. Coach Hillman also works as a trainer for seasonal clinics, programs and individual training.

Coach Cam was born and raised in Syracuse, New York, and graduated from Corcoran High School. He started playing competitive basketball in 10thgrade in a recreation league and quickly became obsessed with the grind of working to get better and then subsequently seeing the improvement. That love of the grind evolved into a love of competition and working with and against peers who shared a similar passion for the game of basketball. He earned a spot on the varsity team his junior and senior years in high school and shortly after graduating, helped coach in the same recreation league where he began his journey. After earning a B.A. in psychology from Buffalo State, Coach Cam returned to the game of basketball, his true passion. Following a brief stint coaching in the Syracuse PAL League, he joined BBA Swarm as a 12U assistant coach and quickly became a well-respected coach, mentor, and trainer with a sharp basketball mind. A true student of the sport, Coach Cam loves to learn and expand his knowledge about all levels, aspects, and periods of the game of basketball. He also currently acts as a player scout in the Greater Syracuse area. He aspires to continue his journey and share all of his acquired knowledge along the way.

Coach Morgan was born and raised in Brewerton, NY, and attended Paul V Moore High School in Central Square, Coach Morgan played AAU for a couple of different clubs around and outside of Syracuse, NY including Central Square Cyclones, BBA NETS, and Port City Blue Wave. She continued her academic and athletic career at Finger Lakes Community College in Canandaigua, NY. In the 2017-2018 season, her team was the Mid-State Athletic Conference Champions and had the unique opportunity to compete in the NJCAA Regional Championships. In February of 2022, Coach Morgan was offered an Assistant JV and Varsity Coaching position with Bellucci Basketball Academy (BBA) & Swarm. Shortly after, she became a BBA Swarm/Programs and Clinics Lead Coach as well as a BBA Private Basketball Skills Trainer. In August of 2022, she became a Talent Scout for BBA Swarm and in September, Coach Morgan was promoted to Head Varsity BBA Swarm Coach and team Training Lead Coach.

Coach Maddy was born and raised in Central Square, NY. Throughout her high school career, she was a 3-sport athlete. In 2016-2017 she was awarded the Team Captain Role, Female Outstanding Athlete Award, 2nd Team All-League, and the Varsity Courage Award. During her senior year, her high school team became the OHSL League Champions. Coach Maddy continued her academic and athletic career at Jefferson Community College. She was awarded the Team Captain Role and won the Mid-State Championship her sophomore year. In August of 2022, she became the BBA Swarm Girls Assistant JV coach.

Meet Coach Conner Harrington, the basketball aficionado with roots in the quaint town of Parish, New York. Trained under the renowned Ben Bellucci and top-tier coaches at Bellucci Basketball Academy.
A seasoned player in the AAU circuit and three years of Varsity basketball, Coach Conner seamlessly transitioned into a mentoring role. He’s lent his expertise to BBA Swarm’s 12U and 13U boys teams, shaping future stars.
Now, at the helm of BBA’s Beginners Program and a lead coach at several After School Programs in greater Syracuse, Coach Conner brings his passion for the game to aspiring players. But it doesn’t stop there – as a Private Basketball Skills trainer, he offers personalized sessions to elevate individual skills.

Coach Fernandez, a native of Syracuse, NY, proudly hails from Living Word Academy. During his high school years, he not only excelled in intramural basketball and soccer but also captained a volleyball team to four consecutive undefeated seasons with Sectional Titles each year from 9th to 12th grade.
Married and driven by a passion for education, Coach Fernandez holds a Bachelor’s in Science, a Masters in Management of Information Systems, and is currently midway through his Doctorate in Global Organizational Leadership. His coaching journey commenced in 1994 in Parish, NY, where he mentored youth sports at a summer camp while serving as a youth group leader. Over the years, he dedicated himself to coaching various sports, including basketball, baseball, volleyball, and soccer, impacting young lives from 1994 through 2021.
Coach Fernandez has been at the helm of numerous youth sports programs, collaborating with organizations such as Blessed Sacrament, Upwards, WHYS, BBA, Lady Hot Shotz, and BBA Swarm. In 2021, he assumed head coaching roles for Lady Hot Shotz, Upwards Girls Basketball 5th/6th Grade, WHYS Youth Flag Football, Upwards Boys Basketball 2nd/3rd Grade, BBA Swarm Girl 12U, Upwards Girls Basketball 7th-10th Grade, Upwards Boys Basketball 3rd/4th Grade, and BBA Swarm Girls 14U.
Over the past four years, Coach Fernandez has consistently empowered young women to emerge as future leaders. On the court, he equips them with the skills to excel in basketball, fosters qualities essential for leadership, and instills resilience by encouraging them never to give up. Parents commend Coach Fernandez for the transformative experiences he provides, noting the increased confidence and personal growth in their daughters under his guidance.

Coach Devin, originally from Syracuse, NY, and a graduate of Cicero-North Syracuse, has an extensive background in basketball. His travel basketball experience includes being a part of the Syracuse Select and Gym Rats programs under the guidance of former Oak Hill and Syracuse basketball point guard Billy Edelin.
Devin continued his athletic journey at SUNY Ulster (Division 2 NJCAA) for basketball before showcasing his talents in both college baseball and basketball at SUNY Polytechnic Institute (NCAA Division III). Armed with a B.A. in business management, Devin has built a successful career in sales but has now circled back to his coaching roots.
With a profound understanding and passion for the game, Devin instills a college-level structure into his coaching approach. Drawing from his college days, his teams will benefit from meticulously crafted practice plans and adhere to a high standard. Devin eagerly anticipates contributing to the development of the next generation of players.

A Syracuse, NY native, born and raised. His basketball journey started at Westhill, where he clinched two consecutive State Championships with the Warriors. Tyler then honed his skills under the guidance of Coach Pete Lobello’s program, contributing to a U17 National Championship.
Continuing his impressive trajectory, he spent two years with the Harcum Bears (NJCAA D1), where he still holds the records for the most 3-pointers made in a game (10), in a season (121), and throughout his career (189). Post-Harcum, Tyler elevated his game at Manhattan College (NCAA D1), representing the MAAC conference. Notably, he earned a spot on the 2019-20 MAAC All-Championship Team, showcasing his prowess on the court. Averaging 10 points and 3 rebounds during his time at Manhattan, Tyler graduated in 2021 with a degree in Psychology.
Now, Tyler eagerly anticipates contributing his expertise to help Coach Devin and the team improve and achieve victories. His wealth of experience and dedication make him a valuable asset to the coaching staff.
