Coach Clout is our Swarm Football Director. With over 30 years of football experience from playing and coaching he brings passion and high energy to the program. Born and raised in Troy, NY, Coach Clout was a 3-sport athlete at Lansingburgh High School and captured 3 football championships while in school. Continued his football career at Mount Ida College in Newton, Ma where he was a 4 year starter and 2 year captain for the program and helped the mustangs compete for their first ever conference championship.
Currently entering his 5th season as the Head Coach of Dedham High school where he has won two coach of the year awards and has led Dedham to 3 straight playoff appearances. Prior to Dedham he was the offensive coordinator at Westwood High school helping Westwood make consecutive playoff appearances. Mike also coached at his alma mater Mount Ida under legendary New England Coach Mike Landers and was the Quarterbacks and Wide Receivers coach during his time there. He also spent time as a Linebackers and Quarterbacks Coach at Stevenson University in Baltimore, Maryland. Mike spent a year as an Offensive Assistant at the arena football level for the Boston Blaze. Mike also spent 4 years as part of the Legacy Football program, A national level 7 on 7 club program where he served as the National Team Director and Coach.
Mike has also spent the last 12 years as a Strength and Conditioning coach and mentor to over 500 athletes. Former owner and operator at Next Level Performance, a small training facility that often gave back to the community. Currently, Mike serves as the Regional Director for the Swarm Basketball Program where he oversees the Mid-Atlantic and Tri-State Regions. With his passion and dedication towards growing the sport and guiding athletes we are excited to have Coach Clout and look forward to growing with him.

Coach Vass comes to Swarm Football with a strong background in program development, player guidance and leadership. A native of Worcester, MA, Coach Vass attended Saint John’s High School in Shrewsbury where he was a team captain and all catholic conference at Running Back and Linebacker. Following High School he played his college ball at  Wesleyan University where he again was named a team captain and played both Running Back and Linebacker during his career there.
Post College Coach Vass started his coaching career at St. Pauls where he was an offensive assistant and worked primarily with the Running backs he also spent time at Doherty High in a similar role. Eventually finding his way back to his alma mater, Coach went home to become an offensive assistant there for two seasons before eventually being named the Head Coach. Serving multiple years as the Head Coach at Saint Johns there was a boost in team GPA and All League players under Vassar.
John also was the Director for the Legacy Football Club for four years, a program that took the top football players in New England and gave them a platform for off season training and development. Coach spends time working with athletes in the off season as a strength and conditioning coach throughout western and central Ma. He has owned his own training business for 5 years and has worked with countless of college and professional athletes both on and off the field.

Coach JB comes to Swarm Football with a stellar playing and coaching career. Born and raised in Cambridge MA, Coach left the falcons as the all time leading receiver in yards and touchdowns while serving as a captain. Coach JB was earned all league and all state honors during his years in Cambridge. Justin continued his playing career at Saint Anslems College where his success continued on and off the field. He left Saint As as the D2 all time leading receiver for receptions in NCAA history a mark that still holds strong today. Justin also earned 1st Team All-American 3 consecutive years.
He broke into coaching right after college where he stepped into a Coordinator role at Cambridge HS serving there for four seasons. Most recently Justin was named the Head Coach at Acton Boxboro High School where he has helped turn around the program and has had multiple all league players. Coach spends most of the off season working with wide receivers across the state and has produced multiple all state players at that position. Justin takes pride in seeing all of his student athletes flourish on and off the field.
