Ben Bellucci - Owner
Ben Bellucci played Professional Basketball for various teams in Europe from 2006-2008. He was named MVP and won his first professional championship playing for iceland in 2006. He also played in Romania where he was an all star and finished his last season of Pro Basketball in Florence Italy. He also worked out for the Golden State Warriors.
Prior to his professional career, Ben was an All-American at SUNY Brockport, leading the team his senior year averaging 22.3 points, 7.5 rebounds, and 4.1 assists while shooting 43% from three point line, and 85% from the free throw line. Ben was also an all-star standout at Cicero North Syracuse (CNS) and was one of the top scorers in New York State behind NBA superstar Ben Gordon.
Ben is a Certified Personal Trainer (AFPA Certified), Sports Metric Specialist (ACL Knee Prevention), and Certified Nutritionist (AFPA). Ben is also Virtus trained, CPR trained, and First Aid trained.

Cookie Hillman - General Manager

Cookie has been part of Bellucci Basketball Academy since 2013. She manages and coordinates 1,000 plus clients across the Syracuse area. Responsible for setting One on One training with certified BBA coaches, Small and Customized Group Training, scheduling clinics and programs throughout the year. In 2018 she joined BBA Nets (now BBA Swarm), a top Central New York AAU club. BBA Swarm, prides itself on recruiting, promoting and developing young athletes. Cookie is in charge of the day to day operations of the business. Her top priority is building strong client loyalty, ensuring players know the value they bring to the organization and ensuring coaches are equipped with the proper training and tools for a successful season.

Coach Hillman’s coaching experience began back in 1997 in Foxboro, Massachusetts where he coached 6th grade girls and 8th grade boys travel teams. In the summer of 2003 he moved to Central New York with his wife and family where he continued to coach with several local organizations. From 2013 to present, Coach Hillman was: Head Coach of a 5/6 girls basketball team for the Cicero Optimist Organization (2013 & 2014); Head Coach for CNS Swishers Club, 6th grade girls travel basketball team (2014), 7th grade girls travel basketball team (2015) and assistant coach for 8th grade girls travel basketball team, Head Coach for Sacred Heart Church CYO Girls 5th/6th basketball team (2014), 7th/8th grade girls basketball team (2015 & 2016); Head Coach for BBA Nets 9th grade girls basketball team (2017); and currently the Head Coach for the BBA SWARM 11th grade girls basketball team (2022). At the same time, Coach Hillman was: Head Coach for Cicero Snipers 4th grade boys travel basketball team (2015); Head Coach of BBA Nets 5th grade boys travel basketball team (2016); 6th grade boys travel basketball team (2017); 7th grade boys travel basketball team (2018); 8th grade boys travel basketball team (2019), 9th grade boys travel basketball team (2020), and 10th grade boys travel basketball team (2021). Coach Hillman preaches accountability, communication, selflessness and hard work, while focusing on strategy and skill development. Coach Hillman also works as a trainer for seasonal clinics.

Maddy BesawI was born and raised in Central Square, NY. That small town is where I started my basketball career in 4th Grade. Even at a young age, it was always something I was passionate about. Throughout my high school career, I was a 3 sport athlete. In 2016-2017 I was awarded the Team Captain Role, Female Outstanding Athlete Award, 2nd Team All League, and the Varsity Courage Award. In my senior year, we became OHSL League Champions. After I graduated high school, I furthered my basketball career at Jefferson Community College. I was awarded the Team Captain Role and won the Mid-State Championship my sophomore year.

Morgan Maloney
I was born and raised in Brewerton, NY, and attended Paul V Moore High School in Central Square, NY. I started playing basketball when I was in elementary school. I went on to make the Modified, JV, and Varsity basketball teams at Central Square. I also played AAU for a couple of different clubs around and outside of Syracuse including Central Square Cyclones, BBA NETS, and Port City Blue Wave. I went on to continue my academic and athletic career at Finger Lakes Community College in Canandaigua, NY. In the 2017-2018 season our team was the Mid-State Athletic Conference Champions and had the unique opportunity to compete for an NJCAA Regional Championship. In February of 2022, I was offered an Assistant JV and Varsity Coaching position with Bellucci Basketball Academy (BBA) & Swarm. Within two months I became a BBA Swarm/ Programs and Clinics Lead Coach. Shortly after I worked my way to BBA Private Basketball Skills Trainer. In August I was given a special opportunity to help expand the BBA Swarm brands by becoming the first ever Talent Scout. Finally, at the beginning of September, I was promoted to Head Varsity BBA Swarm Coach & Team Training Lead Coach.
