Swarm AAU Basketball is seeking coaches for our Basketball teams for the Spring 2022 AAU season! The hiring process for coaches and directors begun as of September 2021. Commitments during the season include multiple practices per week and 5-8 tournaments (weekends) over a 2-3 month season.

 

The Swarm was founded in 2008 out of Central Massachusetts. The program quickly grew and has expanded in several regions and locations at each skill level for boys and girls grades 3-12, and is now the largest club basketball program in the country. The Swarm currently has seventeen different regional locations running out of thirteen different states.

 

Employment contingent upon successful background check and Safesport Certification - an online course provided by Swarm to set the standard of behavior for all staff members. Coaches are compensated based on their experience and qualifications.

 

Responsibilities & Expectations Include:

  • Exemplify and teach positive behavior to act as a role model for players
  • Run practices and skills sessions independently
  • Attend and coach weekly practices and tournaments
  • Showing up on time to all practices and games
